In our home town, Hokkaido, clmate is cooler summers and icy winters. So, we see sunflowers almost in middle or end of september. Many people visited Hokkaido may feel a time lag by watching sunflowers in autumn. That is the reason I colored like this.

I love sensual and gorgeous interior design, these days. Dark, red drapes, velvet, chandeliers, black antique chairs, night view from big windows... In a space like that, I think the design of floor is very important for making atmosphere. As a basic element, I wanted to design floor. It is like Gothic but a little more gorgeous, maybe needs edwardian atmosphere. I love something like that.

Flower Pattern

Flower pattern is like old fashioned cloth. A little fun and maybe looks nice for textiles. It is seamless pattern which repeats horizontally and vertically.

Long-tailed Tit

Natsuko, a member of us likes birds. Especially She loves white long-tailed tit. They live in our home Hokkaido. In winter, we can see some gatherd of them like white snow balls. Very cute.

I think Gothic is symbolic of advanced industrial nations. Although we get essentials, we ain't satisfied. want stuff more and more. And we are around people who we don't know each other, under a lot of stress. When wealthy people wanted salvation, Gothic style was formed.

Chinese Peony

Chinese Peony has been used as design element for various art. I saw a beautiful celadon glazed chinese pot. That was so impressive, and feel lucky. The roots of this flower is used for medicinal herb in traditional Chinese medicine., and called "Syakuyaku" in Japan.
